TIPPERS
Our fleet of modern high specification tippers includes:
- Bulk articulated vehicles operating under TASCC codes of practice for the carriage
of grain, feeds, minerals and certain building products
- Bulk sealed body rigid vehicles for construction products and high volume minerals/waste
products (for example fly ash). These vehicles are also suitable to undertake specialist
movements such as the safe disposal of contaminated semi-liquid materials (for example
canal dredging)
- Insulated rigid vehicles for the carriage of construction materials, bulk minerals
and asphalts/coated stone. Some of these vehicles are operated under long term contracts
to blue chip clients such as Hanson Aggregates (part of the Heidelberg Cement Group).
All our vehicles are equipped with on board weighers, twin camera systems (reversing
and loading cameras) and rotating beacons (as well as rear strobe lights and automated
sheeting systems on all rigid vehicles) in order that they comply with the highest
standards demanded by the construction products sector. In addition, all drivers
have undergone EPIC and SAFED training as well as Driver CPC and other periodic
training as required. All drivers currently complete a minimum of two training days
per annum.
